“a farmhouse, you can feel the humidity of the stone wall room, a bit too dark inside the room, but general acceptable beautiful environment, you can enjoy a very good countryside view (inc the corfe castle ruins), if you dont want to drive to the town to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy the local meal at the farmhouse restaurant”

“Lovely location on the harbour, Maxine the owner is a gem, made us very comfortable and any advice of where to eat etc she was always on hand .”

“Lovely stay, asked if we could swap rooms with the sea view and luckily there was one available and were offered one. Shops and town centre are 10/15 mins walks away and is convenient ”

“We loved Purbeck House and were intrigued by its history and glad to see it embraced its history. We stayed in the annexe which met all our needs but if ever the opportunity to return would love to stay in the main hotel. We found all the staff to be very friendly and informative and felt they were fully invested in providing the guests with an enjoyable experience.”

“Lovely old style pub with beams with a stream set in a valley leading to the beach just relaxing peaceful beautiful setting lovely for a couple to stay which we were rooms was lovely very cosy and homely feel super clean lovely bed just such a nice experience with a included breakfast traditional and continental which was locally produced ingredients xx”

“We were warmly welcomed and given the keys early, and able to drop our bags off, so we could come back when the room was ready and let ourselves in. The room was small but had two chairs by the window which was lovely for looking out at the beach whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The fridge was great for keeping drinks cool and being able to use fresh milk was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast ingredients were of a high quality. ”
