“Very friendly lady on front desk. Quick check in. £10 to park which we weren’t aware of. Clean spacious rooms, usb sockets & plenty tea & coffee. Walking distance to beach & town centre, park across the road.”

“Public area very clean and relaxing. We have stayed several times over the last 40 years and this is the first time ive noticed the building start to age. The room was comfortable with a view of the sea. However the bathroom door needs replacing as damaged and window sill needs sanding down and repainted. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ideal for walking into town and getting to the sea front.”

“Nice welcome by staff/ owner. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. The en-suite bathroom had a very bad smell of mould. Was told on arrival that there were no housekeeping services anymore. I had to ask for towels as none were left in the room and when I received it, it had tooth paste on it. States free parking, this is not true all streets around the lodge are permit parking only, so had to use a car park and pay and walk back to the lodge. Property is very tired and could do with a good clean and……
