“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Great location just a short drive from the beach. Plenty of shopping in walking distance and a nice farmers market on the doorstep when we were there. “If you want a break away from the hustle this is the perfect tonic. Staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. An idyllic setting, walk down to the pebble beach or use this as a base to drive to the nearby places and come back and enjoy the wonderful food/drinks in the spacious gardens. Thank you!”

“Ideal place to stay only a 5 minute walk to the sea front 20 minute walk to the Pavilion to take in a show and visit the harbour and town. Excellent leisure facilities with good inside pool area especially if a trip to the seaside is rained off. Far enough away from the late night music along the promenade.”

“Had a few communication problems, delays in replying and incorrect telephone number. Despite that, the property is lovely & ideally placed for town centre and beach. Stairs and parking/unloading of car may prove an issue for some people, just to be aware. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.”
