“Single women review - I stayed in the single room for 2 nights. It was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of plug sockets for charging & straighteners etc, hangers and dressing table. The Clarence is exceptionally well-maintained. Immaculate infact. I normally stay in big hotels, and they could learn a thing or two from The Clarence. Everything was sparkling and a real credit to the owners. The room had a coffee machine but no kettle. I did have to Google how to get hot water out of it. I……

Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home.”

“The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)”

“Very friendly and clean and tidy. Good position with nearly level walk to beach and town. Unusual for this very hilly town. Please note the single room is very small and there is no guest lounge. This could be a challenge in bad weather. Good value with a full breakfast.”
