This place is dog friendly/dog welcoming .... they had food and water bowls, a spare leash, tennis ball and doggies bags for us.... and the location was perfect. It is right on the beach, just a minute from the Homer Spit (by vehicle). Being on the beach allows for walking for in the morning, night, or afternoon to be enjoyable and full of wildlife. “We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”
