“This is a beautiful property on a hill overlooking a coffee farm with a view of the ocean in the distance. Heidi and Dan were outstanding hosts, available whenever we had any requests or questions, and if they didn't have an answer right away, they would look it up and get back to us pronto. They gave us a royal welcome at 10:30pm when we first arrived. And the 2 course gourmet breakfasts, absolutely out of this world! Every morning we had something different, cooked to utmost deliciousness.……

“While the condo was in an ideal location in Kona, the amenities at the property were less than what I expected. The shower and bathroom sink were filthy. There were several hairs in the shower the day we arrived and what looked like toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The bathroom mirror was also dirty, with water spots all over it. The condo needs a good overall cleaning, as there was dust and dirt all over the walls, fans, decorations, etc. It is also a little outdated. The TV should be updated……

“Great surfer hotel (even if you’re not a surfer). Each room has a view of breaking waves and the hotel salt water pool looks out on the ocean. The hotel is simple yet nicely decorated and adequate free parking. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“House is big, not far from downtown, save and peaceful. A bit of annoying with the 4:00pm to check in and 10:00am to check out.”

“Clean! Nicely updated. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. I was impressed by the design of this unit and the thoughtfulness of the host to ensure what was needed for a great Island stay was there. I was VERY happy staying here and will look to stay here again. I really liked this place.Things I wish I knew: the mattress is memory foam, extra trash bags are under the one in the trash can, and make sure you well and truly close the freezer door ;-)”
