“It is a beautiful country home, but still close to a town that has amenities. We had a wonderful stay and the cows greeted us with smiles in the morning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a quiet break from busy areas.”

“We are a family of 13! Some live in southern Illinois, others in Denver! Yoder is about half way between the two! We had a great week! Harley answered all of our questions concerning the house and even sent us pictures of the kitchen equipment and supplies! He was a great host! There was plenty of room both downstairs, upstairs and around the outside! We had a great week visiting Yoder, Hutchinson and Witchita! ”

“Absolutely loved our stay. We had everything we needed in kitchen and everything else. Notes were very helpful. Met owner he was super nice. We left him some bbq and wedding cupcakes. Would love to stay again in future.”

“A lovely place in the country. Fascinating house with plenty of space for a big family. Cupboards are well stocked with dishes.A lot of pretties setting around makes it not real child friendly.”

“Beautiful location along a country road near manhattan. Perfect for a large family and a dog. Country Atmosphere but very practical stocked kitchen. The best room is the large family room with two walls of glass to view the fields and Wildcat Creek. There are ample lounge chairs outside, a fire pit and a large Blackstone grille with griddle. We cooked our three meals for 12 people on the Blackstone and the kitchen. ”

“We had a great stay. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Checkin/out was easy and stress free. The host was communicative when I had questions. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook and make meals. I would have not hesitation recommending it to others. The only things that could have improved the stay would be to have wifi and possibly a table or dresser in the bedrooms as there was no place to placing items than on the floor. Thanks for a great stay.”
