“There was so many great things to say, I’ll just touch on the highlights. 1. Secluded and quiet. The property is well off the beaten path. This allows for beautiful clear night skies and amazing sounds from birds and critters night and day. 2. Off grid and minimalist. This is certainly our style and the property didn’t disappoint. 3 Excellent communication and friendly hosts. Nothing to add here. It was a pleasure working with them. 4. Adorable cottage. “Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. ”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how spiritual, restful and wonderful it was staying at the Enchanted Rainforest Hideaway! Connie and Andrew were the best hosts ever! The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and private!! Connie met me upon arrival and reviewed everything with me. It is the most restful place I have ever stayed in on a trip. The coqui frogs are very soothing to listen to as you fall into your slumber every night. There is a little black cat, that I think lives next……

“It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all”

“We enjoyed Kamaka cabin…the spacious second floor and the loft. The games were very much appreciated… especially since it rained day and night . My only concern the outside light near the stairs going up to the second floor , does not light up. Making it hard to see at night in the dark…we had to use our phones for light . ”

“We had a great stay! The host does a great job providing everything you need for a very unique experience staying near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The surrounding area is dark with some rough roads, but it is worth it given this excellent stay. ”

“We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! ”

“Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs”

“This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The……
