“This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here. ”

“It's away from the city but easy to reach. The room is pretty big and everything is comfortable. We visited the stable the day after we checked out. what a fun experience with the Icelandic horses. and the breakfast is nice BTW.”

“The property was really Home like. Great host. And very welcoming. The kitchen supplied everything you needed and the area to sit was incredible. Nice and peaceful and definitely would come back. This hotel doesn’t get the credit that it should. It was perfect.”

“They were very kind and accommodating since I had messed up my booking for the hotel. I needed to stay there on July 6th, but didn’t actually book it until July 7th. When we got there I realized my error. I was so worried about having to find another hotel, but they found a room for me and my family and we made do. They directed us to a nice place to eat and it all worked out well. We thank them for their help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. ”

“Our stay at Jakob’s Old Farmhouse was truly unforgettable. What they’ve done with the old farmhouse is absolutely stunning—the blend of rustic charm and modern comfort created such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
