“One of the very best VRBO properties we've rented. The house was just lovely - tastefully decorated yet super functional. Kitchen was fully loaded - and we like to cook! Very comfortable beds with quality bedding. Lots of space for the family to enjoy time together yet plenty of room, inside and out, to find some private time too. I would highly recommend this place without reservation. ”

“This place was small but comfy. It was nestled in a quiet little town. The river front and view was spectacular. This looked to be newly renovated and modernized considering the age of the house. It was well put together; the decor added a great accent. My only suggestion is maybe putting in blinds for the lower windows. It was a creepy feeling without covering the windows at night. ”

The kitchen was very well stocked. The family room has an abundance of games to play, and the outdoor seating areas were wonderful, whether sitting up by the house with the outdoor lights or down by the river fire pit. “The Hummingbird Retreat was everything it promised and more! The moment we stepped onto the property all of our cares melted away. We fully enjoyed every moment of chilling in the beautiful kitchen/dining/living area. And topped off every evening in the sauna and hot tub. We are planning our next vacation to the Hummingbird Retreat now. We cannot wait to return.”

The large gathering place kitchen was perfect for coffee or preparing meals for a family of 14. The many bedrooms upstairs would benefit from more individual bathrooms. This was a perfect home for our family weekend together.”
