“Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall,……

“Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review.”

“Great spacious house”

“Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Good spot in the countryside while obly being a short walk from the lub and short drive from Kendal and lots of natoional trust properties. Plenty warm enough. Only just had 6 sets of kitchenware so felt we were constantly washing up, which was the obly minor downside. ”

“Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood……

“We thought the house was very good, clean, well positioned with plenty to do in the house if we didn't go out. Ample parking ”

“Highly recommend this home! Enjoyed a week in Kendal. House is ideal location with a parking spot. Very quiet & clean neighborhood at the doorstep of High Street & all of the shops/restaurants. Communication with property managers was excellent, very clean home. Would definitely stay again.”

“The house really is tiny - but it worked for the four of us with no problems. My granddaughter loved sleeping in the attic! Everything worked as advertised and it was warm and comfortable. We had no issues parking across the street.”
