“I enjoyed this very small, but comfortable flat. Everything was in order when I arrived and it was a convenient base for walking and exploring the general area. Food shopping was handy and Kendal was a welcoming town for this lone traveler, much preferred over the more tourist towns along Lake Windermere. Again, as advertised, it is a small space.”

“A wonderful place to stay for a Lake District break. Hugely spacious, everything finished to a high standard and extremely comfortable. Our only problem was thinking the key for the door was at the front when it was round the back but once we were in we were all hugely impressed. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay. We would like to return for a longer break next year.”

“The apartment was just as advertised. Very clean and well equipped. In a great location and the cafe underneath was lovely. Our trip was cut short due to an emergency family issue but we will be rebooking soon and can’t wait to visit again.”

“Lovely three weeks while on courses in Staveley at Waters and Acland learning cabinet making techniques. A very well equipped and very clean flat with an extremely comfy bed. I would stay there again if I come back to Staveley, and I certainly hope to.”

“It is a lovely cottage but be mindful the garden on the photos is not actually accessible from the property as its actually a first floor apartment and there are steep steps up to the front door. There were a few snags which I emailed the host about, mainly odd repairs and renewals needed. Also a coffee machine is provided but without the requisite pods to actually make coffee which seemed odd. Lovely location though and stunning views from the living room and second bedroom. “A large property perfectly for bigger groups who wish the convenience of staying in town and walking to everything they need. For example, coffee right next door, multiple markets close by, about a dozen restaurants and take out close by. Big kitchen and table if you wish to cook with enough kitchen tools and pots and pans to make everything work.
