“Our Galt House stay was wonderful! We had a room on the 18th floor overlooking the river and we enjoyed seeing the barges cross the river and also the train in the distance. It was awesome! The room was quiet and clean and convenient to the Mohammed Ali museum, coffee shop, etc. ”

“At 78 we had carry our bags down a flight of stairs with no help.We complained next day and were moved.Restaurant only open half the time we were there.After the move the room was fine.”

“We thought we had the wrong address... it’s one of those trips where you realized you are going to stay at Bates Motel for one night. Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). We also learned from our friends whom we visited that the Hotel was going to change owners within the next month and that a major renovation/ tear-down was in the plans for this hotel. I would……

“It was clean. Definitely a 3 star, but the money we saved, we did more bourbon tasting. Everything was within walking distance. We never used our car until we left. Would stay there again, especially since we only slept and took showers there ”

“We arrived in a rainstorm earlier than the usual check in time. However, the kind gentleman at the front desk allowed us to check in. Our room (107) was spacious and well appointed. However, the bathroom floor does need a deep cleaning. The grout in most of the floor is black but the grout on the far side is tan. The remainder of the room was clean. There is a very complete, cooked breakfast and a happy hour for guests. We’ve stayed here several times and always enjoy the hotel. ”
