“If you are ready to be pampered in the most lovely, historic setting then the Zevely Inn is for you! Our room was cozy and the made-from-stratch breakfasts served by the innkeeper absolutely delicious! And she was delightful, so welcoming and full of stories, but still giving us privacy to soak in every morsel of Old Salem charm in the home owned by Dr. Zevely. We're going back as soon as possible!”

“Beautiful and comfortable historic house! Enjoyed staying in the Reynolds Loft -- that soak in the claw-foot tub made my evening! Gorgeous landscaping and lots of places to just hang out and enjoy beautiful spring weather. Some of the area's best restaurants are just a block away. We were able to walk up Fourth Street toward Trade and window shop the Arts District. Great breweries a mile away (still walkable) and Tate's Cocktails is a great place for a drink and live jazz on Tuesdays. We love……

“We like the historical nature of the property. Did not mind at all that the bathroom was down the hall and the creaky nature of the old building. But... It would have been nice to have some tissues in the room. Also, we think you should present the rooms as NOT having TV service (bring a book) rather than what was a frustrating time finding a channel and keeping service.”

“The person working at the Front Desk was kind of the kindest. Their attitude was like-able, they were respectful, and proved helpful for when I needed assistance with anything. Cleanliness was well and overall I enjoyed my experience at this hotel! For others I would recommend this space, especially for my travelers out there.”

“I just about froze to death in this room, the thermostat said 78º and it felt like 67º. I booked at the last minute and was given a room on the first floor at the end of the hall near the door. Surprisingly it wasn't loud. The heater fan however was super loud. Most everything else was fine, the bed was clean and comfy.”

“The hotel quality does not match the price at all, about 600dollar per night, but the quality of the hotel facilities, such as the bed and shower room design, is horrible; there is no door for the shower, and the water was splashed outside when you are taking a shower and you feel cold too. The shower head is high and you have to raise your head to avoild your hair wet. For example, the desk light was broken. Furnitures are old... Never come again.”

“I like that the guest rooms are limited so there isnt this crazy amount of people on the property. The complimentary buffet breakfast was nice with many options. ”

“Really great spot for the whole family. Large suites were nice. Staff was awesome. Stephanie was A and deserves a raise. Only downside was room smelled like someone had just cooked Chinese food in it but only a minor annoyance. All in all great spot and the breakfast was really good too.”
