“The property is Gorgeous with green rolling hills, a pond with geese and baby geese on the way, deer, beaver and lots of other wildlife! Everything was so close to Charlottesville…Carter’s Mountain, Restaurants, Wineries and a Wonderful treasure down the road at Simeon’s! We loved having picnics on the grounds watching the sunset! Steve was A Great host! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! ”

“The Glade Cottage is rustic but well The WiFi worked well and gives a modern touch to an otherwise off the grid feel of the secluded property. The highlight of our stay was the lunch time cooking class with Kumud. She was a great host that not only taught Indian cooking techniques but so much about the culture as well. The food and conversation were amazing. I would encourage anyone to book a stay and a cooking class!”

The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”

“We spent the day hiking on Skyline drive and retreated to this lovely bungalow next to a babbling stream. After cooking dinner in the grill we sat and talked around the fire pit. The signal was a little spotty, but would sometimes connect to the nearest larger rental.
