“I really enjoyed my stay at Lake Duluti! It was peacefully and tranquil which is what I was looking for. The property is amazing with lots of trees, plants and animals. Having my own chalet gave me a lot of privacy and made it easy to have restful nights. The staff were helpful and made my stay comfortable and fun. They would have my chalet preped for sleeping when I was having dinner. I would stay at Lake Duluti again if coming back to Arusha. ”

“The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). The lodge staff were trained as part of a program to provide a good livelihood to local residents who otherwise would have limited……

“I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. The farm was very relaxing and I'm not sure, but I'm suspicious that some of the food I ate while there was grown on the farm itself. The……

“Super cute common area and beautiful setting within the motel, however it was difficult to find in the dark and pouring rain. We also were driving a large SUV, so difficult to drive into the narrow passage to their gate, but we made it! Rooms could be much cleaner, breakfast was okay, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Again, the common area is flourishing with plants and beautiful, they just need to communicate about location better and be sure rooms get thoroughly cleaned. ”
