“We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Bacon on the Beach. Its a lovely cottage with a lot of character. Feels welcoming and it was super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy short walk to the beach. Jolly Roger Restaurant is close by and our favorite breakfast spot. Close to Food Lion and cottage is located on a street with traffic light which makes it easier to get onto bypass road. Plenty of seating and open floor plan. The deck was very nice with a covered portion over the table and chairs. I……

“The cottage is in a great location, close to stores and restaurants. I would suggest driving to the beach access since it’s a bit of a walk, especially in the heat. Great area to bike ride in, as well. The hot tub was used each day. The outdoor space was perfect for corn hole and the washer toss game we brought with us. The decor in the cottage is cute and the dual deck areas give space to hang out in the evenings. ”

“The property was exactly as expected. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive. Having 4 bathrooms was a big plus. Traveling with a dog, having gates on the decking was great. We learned to play pool! The beach here is wide and remarkably uncrowded. We had a fantastic stay!”

“Was contacted by Evolve about an hour early and told cottage was ready if i wanted to arrive early. Had a problem with lock initially, owner quickly resolved, issue was my old eyes couldn't see the lock well due to shadows. Everything worked as it should, kitchen was well stocked, beds varied in firmness, so if one doesn't suit you, check another. All in all, a pleasant experience. ”

Best price relative to other airbnbs and hotels, the location speaks for itself, it’s walking distance to the beach and even this spots location in the greater OBX is perfect. There’a a really good Italian spot next door along with many other food and entertainment spots close by. The house had everything we needed and was clean when we got to there. They do require quite a bit of cleaning after your stay but to be honest it’s not that bad and is pretty normal if you’ve……

“What a great place to spend a week. The house is so well stocked with everything you will need and the location is great. You can use the pool, the indoor gaming tables or head on a short walk to the beach. It’s walking distance to the grocery store and the set up of the home is fantastic.
