“This was a wonderful stay, especially if you wanted to be back away from the crowded areas. My map app took me to the wrong side, but theres a little sign up, so you at least know you're near the right place. Oh, and James might tease you a bit ;) But then was very happy to give recommendations and show me where the clothes drying rack was”

Full of interesting objects and books.The gardens are beautiful with mixture of wild bluebells but also lawns and a magnificent monkey puzzle tree. The breakfast was tasty and good choice. “This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. However, buses do serve this area, and you can get a taxi. I came to Scotland to hike, so the uphill walk was a welcome part of the trip. The house was less……
