“Communication was excellent, the place was very clean, lots of dishes, forks, spoons, well everything was nice. A couple of maintenance issues but they were explained and didn't inconvenience me at all. Two things, if you are arriving at night, the building numbers are on the far-left end of the building, white with red background and blending into the second-floor balcony railing. “Property was just as described and more. Quite with lake view and access to put canoe into the water. The fire pit was perfect with chairs already set up. Set up inside was great. The light switches were the only downside. There were so many that went to nothing we could figure out. The sliding doors were also not the easiest to use, impossible for kids but seeing as I didn’t want them out without us anyway I wasn’t bothered by it. The kitchen is fully stocked but if you’re not use to stainless……

“Perfectly clean and everything worked. Lights a little tricky to figure out. No dishwasher and could use places to hang up towels. Some poison ivy outside. Other than that, it was a nice, quiet, well-kept place, pleasantly decorated, exactly as advertised. Nice area, too.”

“We had a fantastic time! The house was immaculate. Had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Lots of kitchen items including a few basic spices with olive oil etc. Hot tub was perfect. Game room was so much fun especially enjoyed playing Hookey! Would recommend anyone to stay here! Plenty of room to host a lot of people. Thanks!”

“We spent 2 nights at this little slice of heaven for my mother’s 70th birthday . We had a small group of us stay the 2 nights and some extra friends/ family visit one of the days to celebrate . Even with rainy weather we had such a great time! The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves , including an array of games! The property was beautiful and easy to find . We found a lovely coffee shop in downtown Fryeburg that had delicious coffee , bagels, and pastries . Would highly recommend!……

“We loved the red jacket before it burned down! The townhomes were a good alternative! Everything was great. Staff was friendly and indoor water park was perfect . Air conditioning was a little tricky to adjust but overall worked good. I would recommend and stay again although I can’t wait until renovations are completed for the red jacket hotel so the atmosphere on the grounds is what it used to be. ”

“It was a quick weekend trip, but the house was very comfortable and close to the town of Bridgton. Check in/out was extremely easy and communication with the host was seamless. The house isn't right on the water, but there are still nice lake-views and a short walk down to the shared beach access.”

“Shiva gave us excellent information about the area and was very clear, responsive and accurate, about the check-in procedure.In regard to the kitchen facilities they were as you would expect from an excellent rental location. We were able to prepare a meal for seven very successfully after a full day at Storyland. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and spices as well as providing an excellent place to serve a wonderful meal. ”

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it wasn't too severe. The TV offers many channel options, so you won't get bored at night！"
