“We enjoyed our stay. Nice home. Family in the area were able to come spend time playing board games with us and just hanging out catching up. Close drive to Shellmound park on the river. This would be awesome for a family with kids as the downstairs room is very cute with nice bunk beds and their own bathroom/shower. Will definitely choose again. Does have steep driveway. ”

“We enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect for families - it's right on the river with plenty of yard to play in. It's also only 15-20 minutes to downtown and even less to grocery stores (food city and whole foods are super close), coffee shops and a handful of breweries / restaurants. My daughter and I loved using the kayak and had fun trying to spot the bald eagle that nests nearby. The house is stocked with kayaks, SUPs, paddles, and life vests. The home has a solid layout - 2 beds……

“The cabin is wonderful, the pool is amazing and the views incredible. Love the farm behind the cabins, volleyball and bball courts. The indoor stairs are steep (ladder) which we knew. For a couple days it didn't affect us. The Internet is slow but we were vacationing and didn't mind. The toilet on the 2nd floor wouldn't meet mexico permitting. My 8 year old's knees hit the wall while sitting. Good luck as an adult. But I'm not taking any stars away as we had a wonderful time and will come back.……

“I stayed four nights while in town for a fishing tournament. I didn't spend a lot of time at Stephen's place other than sleeping, but it was perfect for me. Ideally located very near a boat ramp, plenty of parking for my truck and small boat trailer, and peaceful and quiet when it was time for some shut eye. I loved the front porch! I would definitely book again if I'm ever down that way again!”

“My family stayed here for a quick weekend trip and had a fabulous time. It was close to everything but gave us a sense of being out and isolated. I loved having the animals right outside our door. The cottage was immaculate and the hosts left little treats for us as well as treats for us to give the animals. We love this place and will definitely come back. ”

“I hope that the property owner is an interior designer because it would be a shame not to share such talent with others. Great place to stay. On a somewhat busy street so occasional noise from traffic. But, overall for location and sheer beauty, would stay there again.”

“We were warned about the trains but had no idea it would be this bad. At all times of the day and night there were multiple trains passing. They were so loud it wasn’t possible to have a conversation in the hot tub. I wish I could share a video of the trains passing by because the sounds was really loud and very annoying. Metal on metal grinding. It’s a real shame because we loved the location and the Cabin itself was clean, and had everything we needed. If not for the trains we would……

“We really enjoyed this location. We came for a wedding in the area, but may return to relax sometime. The way it is situated next to the creek and the porches with the rockers were so nice. We all noticed how clean it was when we arrived. The beds were all very large and comfortable. Well worth the money to stay. ”
