We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. It's in an ideal location, just a 10 minute walk up one street to the nearest Underground station (Earl's Court) and also very close to Fulham Road (5 minute walk) which has a lot of shops, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and grocery stores.
