We love New Hope and know it well, and this was a nice distance from there to accommodate naps and doing some sightseeing. Super close access to the canal trails, and the most awesome porch. We spent most of our time out there when at the rental!”

“Originally booked this location so we could take our 4-year old to Sesame Place (about 25 min drive), explore New Hope, and enjoy the pool. This was a great location to do all these things!It was not quite the vacation we were expecting when a severe storm knocked out power to much of the town, including the rental. Chip and Nancy went out their way as hosts to stay in communication about what was going on and even hooked up a generator for our last two nights so we could still use the rental.……

“Wonderful quiet space for visiting the New Hope area. Nicely stocked coffee/tea bar in kitchen including some snacks. Very clean and comfortable. The area had a storm while we were there and lost power but this place has a generator that kicked on and we continued to have power. ”

“Wonderful house, just as advertised. My brothers and I had a great time getting away. Walking distance to downtown and close to many activities including the bike trail. Host was very responsive on an early checkin when a few of us arrived in town early, and went out of her way to return a couple things we left there. ”

“The host/property manager was communicative, responsive and all around wonderful. This property was perfectly located for the sites that we were visiting around De Sales University. The property was clean and as described. I do want to note that one of the bathrooms is a half bath with no shower and that the house is nestled between two senior living buildings and a busy route 378. Wonderful stay regardless!!”

However, the neighborhood felt safe and the home has its own designated parking. The host was also easy to communicate with. Overall, a very pleasant stay. ”

“We were in town for a wedding and this was close and convenient to the event. This is basically a nice row house with 5 bedrooms on 3 floors with two very small bathrooms. Very clean and nicely amended with an updated kitchen which we did not use since we were just there overnight. Lots of stairs so if that’s an issue I would not recommend but it was perfect for my family.”

“The house was as shown in pictures. Very clean, and organized. We booked for 2 nights, however because of a flight cancellation, we ended staying only on e night. ”

“The Mountain House was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family! We loved the rustic, quirky, artsy vibes there! The pool and hot tub were great for hot sunny days and balmy nights. It was wonderful to be able to see the pool from the glass windows of the main living area! The pool depth provided just the right combination for the 6 year old to the 14 year old! Everyone was able to relax, and the time was full of laughter and connections. We loved the history of……
