“We had a wonderful stay! The A/C was truly the trip saver during a hot and busy week. We were in town for a college drop-off and the location worked perfectly. In between lots of dorm shopping, we explored the area—highlights included a sunflower farm, Amish Country in Lancaster County, and even a longer drive for a beach day. The home itself was very comfortable, with a roomy kitchen and a spacious upstairs bathroom that made our stay even more convenient. This rental made a hectic trip so much……

“This house was a good landing place for our large family gathering. We liked the well-appointed kitchen and comfortable gathering area in the living room. We loved having meals out on the deck, hanging out in the hot tub, shooting hoops in the basketball hoop, and using the fire pit. The listing isn’t clear about the beds that are in each room. The downstairs master has one queen bed in it. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms- one room has one queen bed, one room has a trundle bed (twin mattresses) as……

“The house was very clean, well taken care of, and stocked with everything we needed. (In the main house there were a few more stairs than we were aware of, and a few very narrow and steep staircases which made it a bit more difficult for one of our family members who recently had broken a few ribs to get around, but not a deal breaker by any means) The pool was excellent (but could use a little shade - we were all vying for space under the one umbrella)Overall we had an excellent stay. ”

“The home was immaculate and comfortable. The location was amazing due to the proximity to shops, restaurants and canals. I have never stayed in a more thoughtfully put together home. They thought of everything, from the fresh water already awaiting my pet put in clean dog bowls upon our arrival to the brand new umbrellas set out by the door for the anticipated rainy weather. “The house was exactly like the pictures. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, the appliances worked great, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean.It's an 8 minute drive to Musicfest so the location was perfect! Check in was easy and our host was quick to respond to any questions I had.”

“Wonderful quiet space for visiting the New Hope area. Nicely stocked coffee/tea bar in kitchen including some snacks. Very clean and comfortable. The area had a storm while we were there and lost power but this place has a generator that kicked on and we continued to have power. ”

“Had everything we needed. Clean & good location. ”

“The host/property manager was communicative, responsive and all around wonderful. This property was perfectly located for the sites that we were visiting around De Sales University. The property was clean and as described. I do want to note that one of the bathrooms is a half bath with no shower and that the house is nestled between two senior living buildings and a busy route 378. Wonderful stay regardless!!”

“In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. Joan was helpful and gracious and when my bed was too high, she helped us work out a perfect solution and the elevator to all four floors was a lifesaver. “A magical stay with everything you could possibly need”

“My family stayed here for a wedding in newtown. What a lovely apartment! It was a rainy cooler june weekend so we didnt get to enjoy the outdoor space as much but parts of the patio/deck was covered which was great. The pingpong table and some porch areas needed a sweep but otherwise it was delightful, clean, cozy. We’d stay here again. ”

"at least 10 long hair stocked in the Tub. Broken Button at the Jazzuci. Water was Too Dirty with many Hair. Late check out had to ask again and again, so this was so annoying. Room was NOT ready until 4:47 Pm. , BUT NO one said Sorry for that, and NO Compensation for it. Late check out until 12:30 in the morning, and this policy made customer couldn't sleep well. The Message sent from a manager to me Didn't help , even though she /he looked like to help me. it just wasted my time to message him/her. I got No Bye No good response from this guy at the end. "
