“Lovely property in center of Tarbert enjoyed our overnight stay”

“Unbelievably friendly assistance at check-in from Jo. I had booked the wrong set of rooms for our family of five, which she resolved in a very efficient and accommodating manner. Unexpectedly spacious rooms with gorgeous views. It beat our lofty expectations, and we will definitely hope to stay here again when we can return to Macrihanish in the future. ”

“Tarbert is such a sweet little town. The castle ruins were magical. The hotel itself - very convenient, easy parking, incredibly nice and very hardworking staff. The meals were SUPERB! The room was in good condition. The bed was a bit on the soft and saggy side. Great view though over the water. Hallways are clearly under ongoing repairs. The dinner dining area is quite nice. Breakfast area could use a refresh (especially that first booth seat). Overall, the Anchor Hotel was a great 2 night……

“A single overnight on a motorcycle trip. Accommodation was very comfortable and staff (Krista) was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with vegetarian accommodated no problem. Everything really clean and tidy with tea, coffee in room as well as shampoo & shower gel. View as you exit the font door is lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommended.”
