“Loved the king suite! When we asked for extra coffee and towels, the person at the desk was happy to oblige and in both cases gave us more than we asked for. The EV chargers were accessible and easy to use.”

“Really enjoyed this hotel. The grounds and hotel are well kept. While it is a bit of a drive to downtown Ashland, the area felt really safe and was easy to drive to the more populated area. We had our dog with us and this hotel was very dog friendly and accommodating for our pet. My only regret was that we got in late and had to the leave the next morning. Would definitely stay again. ”

“This is a great place to stay while in Ashland. It is a great value and very clean and friendly. I personally liked the cozy smaller room as it had everything I could need, including a desk, fridge, microwave, etc. I liked that I could choose to have the AC blow less or more as well. I liked the beautiful mountain picture over the bed, and the white comforter. Overall very nice and affordable place to stay in town. ”

“We checked in quite late during a road trip, and it was extremely easy and quick. We were in bed asleep within 15 minutes of arrival. The breakfast was great, and we were back on the road by 7:00 the next morning. It was clean, quiet, and exactly what we needed.”

“Staff was very personable! Cherri went over and beyond to assist me a few times during our stay. She has great energy and professional. I thought continental breakfast ended at 10am. Jack prepared a dish of scrambled eggs for me at 10am, even though they closed. I was so impressed he went out of his way to do that! And before I departed, he filled my cooler with ice. The beds are very comfortable. A cozy stay! I will return! Thank you.”

“An absolutely charming place to stay. Beautiful historic building with lush decor. Lots of unique touches and lovely atmosphere. Great peaceful neighborhood with nearby amenities and very quick walk to the centre of Ashland. If I was forced to suggest any improvements I'd love a slightly later checkout time. But this isn't a deal breaker. Can't wait to stay again.”

“The Stratford is very reasonably priced and in easy walking distance to town and the theaters. We have stayed here while attending OSF many times starting in 1986. We appreciate having a small fridge and microwave in the room, plus Safeway right across the street. It is an older property but generally in good condition. ”

“If I were single I could live here. It's that comfortable. The freestanding apartment is ideally located and finished to a very high standard. Amazingly well designed and laid out. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Many, many conveniences. Cafe table in garden outside. We parked once and walked everywhere. Lovely host. Really, I can't imagine anyone giving it less than a perfect score. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Simple old fashioned elegance without being pompous. The Victorian themed nature collections of leaves, shells, butterflies, etc. that decorated the lobby, elevator, and halls were fascinating and added to the ambience of a step back in time. Dinner cuisine at the Larks Kitchen was beautifully prepared and served.”
