The walk into the village is just over 1km, either along a hilly route, which is quieter, or along a level route, where you walk right next to a busy road. “Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you.”

“Ansprechend und vollständig eingerichtet (TV, Waschmaschine, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kontaktgrill). Damit ist dann sämtliche Arbeitsfläche verbraucht. Mangels Spülmaschine sind dann sowohl Abwasch als auch Kochen eher umständlich. Im Gegensatz zur Menge der Geräte ist die Qualität im unteren Bereich: Billige Töpfe mit runden Böden, stumpfe Messer, Backofen heizt nicht richtig, bei allen beweglichen Teilen lockere Schrauben. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es nur ein Regal, Licht……

“Had a really good stay here with the family. It was definitely a true Scottish experience having to use the woodburner to heat the lounge and great that the cottage was up together but traditional. It wasn’t overly modernised but not dated either. Would definitely return. Well positioned for many good walks.”

“We enjoyed our week at Cuillin View. The apartment was as described but we did not appreciate how small it was. Our daughter joined us for a few days and it was a squeeze to accommodate us all (with a dog). The dining chairs were fold up to save space but they were uncomfortable and cushions or better chairs would be an improvement. The draining board next to the sink was tiny and too small for two, let alone 3 people. Finally the WiFi was terrible. Intermittent with a maximum download of……
