“Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure.”

“It was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly opened and rooms are fresh. The staff are very friendly, especially Assistant Manager Abhey, Jayan, and the restaurant team. They made me feel like a home. The cooked home made food, even I made a special request to cook Kerala’s famous kheer! It was amazing. The hotel is just 5 mins from the beach. “Great place, quiet, secluded beach, close enough to shops and restaurants at Varkala Beach- 100-200 rupees in a tuk tuk. Hotel staff go out of their way to help you, they arranged our transport wherever we wanted to go and prices were fantastic”

“The hotel is built on a hill, space is not wide but well designed. Room is nice, but sometimes the smell from the bath room spread into the bed room. Hotel location is good, only 4 minutes can reach the beach. The worst drawback is the breakfast, selection is very poor .”
