“We had an excellent stay at this property, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. There was an initial issue with one of the ac’s but they immediately gave us an additional room. “The hotel is built on a hill, space is not wide but well designed. Room is nice, but sometimes the smell from the bath room spread into the bed room. Hotel location is good, only 4 minutes can reach the beach. The worst drawback is the breakfast, selection is very poor .”

“It was amazing. From the moment I arrived till the moment I left all the staff were amazing. They helped with food recommendations, also the food at the hotel was amazing! The bar is perfect and friendly guests and staff. The room was always clean and housekeeping were great. Overall a great experience and would recommend to any traveller. “It was a one night stay before a flight. The check in was quick (but 2 forms to fill in!); the room spacious and comfortable with efficient cooling. The lift played Brahms’ lullaby. There is a small swimming pool which I enjoyed a couple of times, which seemed seldom used, but a real pleasure. It’s located off some main road and easy to get places. I had my best night’s sleep in 8 days in India and that was most welcome. Breakfast was straightforward and simple. It is in many ways like any other……

“Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure.”
