“This property is an awesome vacation getaway spot. Ideally located close to Baton Rouge, with many convenience stores and local cuisine within 10-15 minutes of the house. My fiancé and I came with 4 of our kids aged 3 to 14 and had 2 friends with their 3 boys aged 16-22.There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and not be on top of each other. “Property was located on False River; Nice place to catch catfish and relax with private pier and beautiful view of the river and ducks. The property is older but you can tell has had renovations in the kitchen. The downstairs bed was very squeaky. We didn’t use the upstairs room. The couches could be updated. They were very lumpy. The shower is super small and not for a taller person. We did have to change the shower liner because it had mildew on it. Also, noticed some hair in the tub but……

“Our stay was fantastic. Both hosts were on top of any requests or information we requested. Property owner was welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was scrumptious, with a fabulous homemade gravy. Yum. The kayak trip was perfect and we were able to launch and return to the B&B, although hosts offer drop off and pick up at numerous stops along the river. We definitely will stay again.”
