“Safe and easy stop in close proximity to houghton. the hotel is slightly dated but the pool and spa were clean and the room was perfect for sleeping. easy to find and their dining room keeps great hours. will be back! ”

“Hotel is just as described! Simple "mom and pop" place, just what we wanted for a snowmobile trip. Super nice sisters - Sara and Mary - at the front desk. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and an assortment of juices, oatmeal and an assortment of packaged snacks for breakfast. Big jar of candy (take the Snickers bars for protein!) also! Bed was super comfortable, however, when either of us rolled over, the whole bed wiggled/shook, like their aren't individual coils. We parked sleds right in front……

“Will stay again, location was close to a main snowmobile trail, the owner went overboard making sure we had room to park the trailer. Cabin was clean and warm, including a great ice maker! We had everything we needed for a week in the North! Snowmobiling was great!”

“Group of extended family and friends gathered outside Houghton to visit Michigan Tech kids. Lovely winter setting, spacious for all of us. Got a lot of use out of the sauna and appreciated all of the bedrooms. This home could use a few more supplies, in the kitchen especially. We had a bit of a struggle with having enough warm water, but communication with the owner was quick to try to address it. Bit of a drive into Houghton, but if you’re looking for a beautiful winter getaway, this house is……

“We enjoyed our stay while visiting Michigan Tech. The in-floor heat and heated garage were especially cozy as it was a cold and snowy weekend. ”

“Accomodations were great for our group of snowmobilers. We were able to park 2 trucks and trailers in the parking area. Shelving right inside the door was handy for organizing gear. Open floor plan and bar was great. Would stay again!”
