“This cozy place was close to the parks that were were hiking and a midway place for our family to meet. It had everything we needed and communication with the host was excellent. ”

“Quaint, well appointed cabin that has been well maintained and decorated. It served as a great basecamp as we explored the local bluffs and rivers! The cabin had everything we needed for quick morning breakfasts and also great places to unwind with campfire and entertainment options. The pull-out sleeping options could easily sleep 3-4 kids in addition to the queen adult bed. Overall a great stay!”

“Clean home with very comfortable beds. Very quiet surroundings and the host had plenty of kitchenware. Would of been best if the coffee maker worked, better water pressure and cookie sheet for baking bacon in the morning. Otherwise we loved our stay. ”

“We wanted a pet friendly "home away from home" and we certainly found it. The cottage is very nicely appointed inside and has pretty much everything you could want! We only used the master bed and although it is quite a soft mattress it is very comfortable and great pillows (which we never find!) We didn't bring our fishing gear but you couldn't really fish from the back it is too weedy, but it is not far to fishing spots. There were nice places to walk our dog right from the cottage. “Wonderful little stay on the Mississippi River. The most AMAZING sunrises to wake up to ... as well as beautiful moon rises over the river. We will definitely be back! Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot! Very CLEAN and had every thing you need in a kitchen to cook anything. Wonderful host!”

“Loved the cottage! Only complaint is we could at times hear the people in the next cottage thru shared wall. And loud trains at night. Loved the neighborhood, places you can walk. Short drive into cute town and state park. ”
