“I loved the private pool and hot tub. My kiddos really enjoyed themselves. ”

“Lovely cottage, with lots of fun artwork throughout the space. The patio was a comfortable place to hang out and enjoy the weather. Neighborhood is lovely and peaceful - near a library and there are several mini-free library boxes on nearby streets. The owners were kind enough to share some of their Bantam chicken eggs, too.”

“We loved the property, the tubs, the fire ring, the location, Culver City, everything!”

“I came to LA for a Dr visit and wanted a place that was clean where I could just relax after my procedure. This place was everything that I could have asked for. Fantastic location. Very close to Toluca Lake dining. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again on my next visit to LA. ”

“Great place to stay for the weekend. But the home was not very clean. There were sticky dirty stains on the kitchen floor. The silverware and some pans in the drawer had food stains. The light switches were visibly dirty. The toilets were not cleaned properly. There was a spill of some sort with chunks of something in a downstairs bedroom that was not cleaned. The top linen on the beds was dusty. I thoroughly cleaned everything before I let my kids walk around and start using the home. There……

“Our stay at Polynesian Paradise was amazing! Four of us flew over from Vancouver for an extended weekend stay for the Oasis concert. It was a short Uber to the grounds and after the show we ended up walking back… wasn’t too bad of a walk, took about an hour. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away.The pool and outdoor area is amazing! And we all enjoyed the detailed decor inside. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again if we return to LA/Pasadena area in the future :) ”

“This house was filthy & very poorly maintained. Grime on walls, dishes, floors and pool. We paid extra to have pool heated and clean, but when we arrived, it was cold and had days of debris in it. There was food on the deck, around the fire pit and sitting area. The palm tree lighting is hanging at toddler height that could easily become entangled around child’s neck. Zero maintenance on the trees with dead tree palms hanging and falling to the deck. Don’t bring your kids here! No……

“My stay at Expansive Mountain Gem was overall pleasant, comfortable, and met my expectations. The biljard’s game room was an excellent addition to the property, as it entertained both kids and parents. However, it’s important to mention that the neighboring property was quite an eyesore. The adjacent terrain was cluttered with old cars, containers, and unused machinery, which detracted from the otherwise serene environment. While this didn't affect the stay directly, it’s something to be aware……

“Nice quiet getaway place. The place was very clean. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The interior decor was aesthetically pleasing. Me and my partner will be coming back to this place when we travel to LA. The bedding was very comfortable and relaxing. The jacuzzi hot tub provided that added comfort after a long day out. Thank you for providing added memories to our life.”

"We stayed for four days and three nights, and our experience was truly outstanding. From the flavorful meals to the sparkling clean pool, the well-maintained environment, and the reliable shuttle service—every detail was thoughtfully handled and exceeded expectations. The only aspect that could use improvement was the service attitude of the night shift front desk staff, who came across as less welcoming compared to the daytime team. A bit more warmth and attentiveness during the night would truly elevate the guest experience. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for families visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The facilities are family-friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, and everything is conveniently located. Strongly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable family getaway!"
