“This place was amazing! Perfect size for two people. King size bed was comfortable. Amazing Views of lake and volcano. Grill and hot tub did not work. That is only reason we are rating a 4. I would absolutely stay here again. Close to everything in this area.great restaurant and all activities a short drive”

“This property was absolutely magical! At the price point I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it was even better than the photos appeared. The host was very reachable and helpful. The property was gorgeous and felt like a dream. We saw to and on the way in, heard howler monkeys once in the morning, and had a tree frog in our hot tub with us. The only thing to be aware of and other review stated it was that it was quite a trek to get to the property. It was exactly 20 minutes from the……

“My boyfriend and I stayed for a little over a week. We wanted to stay a bit out of town so this location was perfect for us. The host was very responsive and the house was beautiful. ”

“What a beautiful, peaceful finca! Everything was lovely during our stay. Fresh flowers greeted us, and all the main things one would need for cooking were there: coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware. The washing machine and clothesline worked for us. The best part of this stay are the hosts. Don Eddy took us on a lovely horseback tour of the farm, where we sampled many fruits, sugar cane, cacao. We even saw a sloth and a howler monkey. The water buffalo, Solomon, is a cutie and very friendly.……

“This was a great place to stay for the price. Think glamping. It was clean, decently stocked kitchen wise, and the little porch with hammock chair was amazing. The vegetation around was lush and the pond with running water. There is some road noise and it's a tin roof so it can be loud with rain but overall a great stay. Nice to be out of the town centre.”

“The cabin itself and the grounds are immaculate. The cabin is well thought out and beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay and regret missing one of my nights due to a flight delay. The pool area was lovely and it was so peaceful. This place is obviously catered to romantic couples, but it was just what I needed for a solo rest. It rained for my entire stay but it was still wonderful. The only issues I had were the distance from town, it was hard to get there and back to Fortuna (it is not in……

“Nice cabin. A bit off the beaten path”

“Cute house that felt very safe in a gated community. The upstairs bedrooms are bright in the morning, so we were glad we brought eye masks. It was helpful there were cell phone chargers in each room. We liked being 8 minutes from town away from town. The washing machine took some getting used to, but was nice to have. We would stay at the Toucan’s Nest again.”
