“Staying here is kind of like having your own nature preserve. Short trails, lots of birds (including the eponymous toucans)…Hosts were great, helped with booking adventures and moved us into another unit when there was a power outage. Place is small, our family of four was a bit cramped, but there’s lots of nice outdoor space. Would stay again…”

“My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this modern and private villa. It was located close to the town of La Fortuna and close to so many attractions. We had our morning coffee outside where i saw toucans flying from tree to tree. On a walk in the neighborhood, we saw a sloth in a tree scratchibg himself! “No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. ”

“We stayed 3 nights at Cabañas Litos in February (couple). Everything was so perfect! At distance walk from restaurants, everything was clean and well maintained. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed to cook so we saved money to do all activities around. I strongly recommend!”

“What a beautiful, peaceful finca! Everything was lovely during our stay. Fresh flowers greeted us, and all the main things one would need for cooking were there: coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware. The washing machine and clothesline worked for us. The best part of this stay are the hosts. Don Eddy took us on a lovely horseback tour of the farm, where we sampled many fruits, sugar cane, cacao. We even saw a sloth and a howler monkey. The water buffalo, Solomon, is a cutie and very friendly.……

“This place was amazing! Perfect size for two people. King size bed was comfortable. Amazing Views of lake and volcano. Grill and hot tub did not work. That is only reason we are rating a 4. I would absolutely stay here again. Close to everything in this area.great restaurant and all activities a short drive”

“The good, the property was clean, beautiful, small and quaint (but that’s what we wanted), communication from the host was great. The only bad thing was that the location was a little different than what shows on the listing, about a 15-20 minute drive outside of where the listing shows. Other than the location difference I would not hesitate to recommend the place as the place was just as the pictures show and the host was great, just be aware that it is slightly outside of town, easy drive……

“My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and the property was excellent! The cabin was clean, with a beautiul view of this little aritificial pond that had ducks and fish in it. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response.”

“This place exceeded all our expectations! Nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by lush rainforest and stunning landscaping, it offered the perfect retreat. The hot tub was a highlight for our group, especially during the day when it was cooler and perfect for the kids. “We had an amazing stay at Morada Colibri. The property is even nicer in reality than on the pictures. If you are lucky you will be able to see wildlife in the trees around the property - we were lucky to see a family of monkeys :) There is also an outdoor gym area and the jacuzzi is huge. Andy is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!”

“This property was absolutely magical! At the price point I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it was even better than the photos appeared. The host was very reachable and helpful. The property was gorgeous and felt like a dream. We saw to and on the way in, heard howler monkeys once in the morning, and had a tree frog in our hot tub with us. The only thing to be aware of and other review stated it was that it was quite a trek to get to the property. It was exactly 20 minutes from the……

“The location was close to LaFortuna in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The houses are really close to each other and there is no soundproofing so we could hear the very noisy house next door two of three nights. The pool had a nice view of Arenal. ”

“We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the property on the second floor. The room was updated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. It is attached to a convenience store for beer, snacks and alcohol. Pool was clean. Also has a whole bar area that you can leverage by the pool. Property can be a little noisy in the morning when everyone is going to work since it is located directly on the main road to La Fortuna.”
