“The treehouse was definitely worth the stay. Even though it had no AC, it wasn't needed. The temps in the forest were perfect even at night. The sounds of the forest were amazing to fall asleep too. “We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend……

“Husband and I had a pleasant stay at chachagua. We arrived late at night and was greeted at the front desk with hand towels and fruit juice. “We were looking for an “off-tourist” spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but would’ve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didn’t have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end “glamping”. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. ”
