“My family and I had a great stay at Magnalia House. The house and detached pool cabana were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Highlight is definitely the soaking pool in backyard. The area around the pool was comfortable, and beautifully landscaped, giving a feeling of complete privacy even though you are in a neighborhood. Also, the awnings allow for plenty of sun but also allow you to enjoy outside even when it’s pouring rain. And the view of Arenal from the pool is stunning. A couple……

“Property was clean and beautiful. We loved the outside space. Our hosts, Carole and Ademar were very responsive and friendly! Ademar gave us a wonderful tour of the property and cooked us a superb dinner one night! We saw lots of howler Monkeys and birds, even a Toucan….the resident sloth and her baby played shy. I would highly recommend this property if you want to stay in this area. We stayed 3 nights and I wish we stayed at least 4! There is so much to do in the area!”

“The property is in need of many upgrades. The electrical outlets didn’t all work, the plumbing in that toilets needed attention for the first 3 days. The kitchen wasn’t suitable for cooking as the pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. The toaster and blender didn’t work, although the blender was replaced promptly. The pool was great and location was good. You really will need a car to stay here. A printed guide would have been helpful telling us how to turn on patio lights etc. ……
