“We stayed in this house 5 years ago and we decided to return because it fits our needs. Being on the beach is the key. Not having the path in front of the house but just a block away is perfect. Being an older house makes it more comfortable for us. There are a lot of quirky things about this house (the ancient kitchen, the bunk room upstairs, the downstairs bathroom, the bed under the stairs) which suit us but maybe not everyone.”

“This place was amazing. My daughter goes to Cal State Fullerton and her apartment is less than a mile away. The Casida was very very clean and with all the amenities. We will be staying here again. Thank you to the host. ”

“Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.”

“Great stay. We spent the week in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl parade and football game. Having this pool house to come back to each day made the trip that much better. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. My kids loved the hot tub and my wife loved the fireplace in the house. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.”

“Perfect spot right next to the beach and walking distance to almost everything! Nicely updated and very comfortable beds and accommodations. The unit was very clean and cozy. Loved the beach toys and bikes. The best part was dedicated parking spot for a tall large vehicle. This was one of the keys to booking as our vehicle cannot fit in many of the typical beach properties. Would definitely recommend and would stay again! Thanks! ”

“We had a lovely stay! The house had vintage charm and was nicely decorated with all the modern conveniences and the biggest TV I've ever seen in a home! Many extras like a Keurig with pods, bottled water and a nice outdoor seating area in back. Close to many restaurants and stores and all Long Beach has to offer. Will try to stay here again next time we're in town.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean with plenty of enough linens and towels. We loved having 2 bikes and beach chairs in the garage saved us from having to rent. Host was responsive when I had a few questions and took care of my needs right away. I would recommend to anyone that wants a quick get away it is close to the beach and right across the street from the store which makes getting food back to the house easy. “If you want to stay in South Pasadena, this property has an excellent location as so much is walkable - the train, the grocery store, lots of restaurants, the library. We appreciated also that there are a lot of spices and some condiments and that food preparation was easy. It is nice to have an office space if one is doing some work. It is a small space.”
