Short walking distance to the seaside and to the shops. Unfortunately there is a poor Wi-Fi connection almost everywhere throughout the hotel. Asked to have breakfast at 9.55 am and was not allowed to. Rooftop Restaurant is indeed a hidden gem.”

“Very old hotel that overlooks a creepy abandoned hotel. Lovely team in general and a nice owner, but, what ruined it for me was the small things. They tried to charge us (i hope you are sitting down) 10 Euro per room for AC. Otherwise in sweaty Italy in August they shot down your AC. Yes yes. I had to spend 50 minutes with hotels.com who had to call them and tell them they can't do that. Then they wanted to charge for a very mediocre pool another 10 Euros per two hours (?) and finally, forgot……

“We had an amazing experience. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us. He even picked us up from town in his car and prepared us breakfast on the roof top terrace with an incredible view over the ocean and Vesuvio. We will definitively come back! Mille Grazie!!”

Under such circumstances I asked the host to cancel my reservation in order I could book another place. But the host refused to do that! So, I wonder if the host is a fraudster or simply irresponsible person, who doesn’t update calendar.”

“I met Matteo on the first night of our stay since google maps had the address off a bit further up the road than it actually was. He guided us to the hotel and we settled in. When we first saw the passageway for the road that led up to the place, we looked at each other and thought no that can’t be right….it’s right! Very small but truly Italian!
