“We had such an amazing time in Positano and such a huge part of that was due to Villa Mary and specifically Tizi. The staff was so warm and welcoming, treating us to a wonderful breakfast every day and always helping us with any issues or questions we had. It has one of the best views in Positano and is definitely worth the hike up. If you are planning a trip to Positano, Villa Mary is the place to stay!”
“We had friends staying across the street, so it couldn't have been any more convenient for us. But the owners absolutely make this place. I'm not sure they ever sleep, but we appreciated it. They chatted with us over coffee in the morning and the extra couple of lemoncellos before bed. Had figs from the garden for breakfast. Lovely view of the water.
As I would say with most of our hotels in Italy, if you're looking for Houston or Miami hotel level of AC, you'll be disappointed. LOL. But……
“This is an ideal place to stay in Positano—close to the main area, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The accommodation was immaculate, set in a stunning location that offers breathtaking views of Positano. The staff were exceptional and incredibly welcoming; they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect .
Although the accommodation offers absolutely breathtaking views, it’s important to note that there are 170 steps to climb in order to reach it. That said, it wouldn’t stop us……

Location is a little far from the pier. Remember to deliver your luggages to porter for help. It will be impossible to carry them up the stairs.”

A side note: you can follow the main road up to avoid the stairs, or if you are up for the challenge there are some steep stair shortcuts to the city and beaches below.”
