“First time doing a bed and breakfast and Elsa’s Place did one hell of a job setting the bar high for any future B&B stay. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was solid. I could live off the berry parfaits they made for breakfast. “I stayed at Travelers New Orleans between March 2-March 5, 2005 during Mardi Gras. It reminded of a hostel with a private room with a full bathroom. It has a common kitchen, a common area and code entry to the building and the room. It was in a decent location of the "Garden District" about a 20-minute walk from the tourist areas of Bourdon Street and the French Quarter. “We were in town for the Sugar Bowl. The property and management team [go Juantia!] were awesome. Super clean and comfortable for a very large party. We also found the management company flexible and easy to work with as our plans changed with the delayed start of the game. Highly recommend.”

“We had a wonderful week-long stay here. The location was quiet and we felt safe. It was easy to access transportation to the French Quarter or the Garden District with a short walk to St. Charles St. The home is lovely and the decor is authentic. “Such a quaint and beautiful property just an hour away from New Orleans. Claudette was an incredible host with all the knowledge of places to eat, things to see and adventures to go on! The St Charles streetcar is just a block away, so you can park your rental car and ride to the French Quarter and elsewhere. “I loved this place. A little studio apt with everything you might need. Also pool and hot tub and courtyard out back. It was very quiet at nighttime. I was nervous because I had read reviews about trying to be sold on a timeshare. The concierge did try to convince me to go at check in but when I said “I’ll let you know”, she did not bother me about it the rest of the trip. Therefore, zero issues with that. Just say I’ll get back to you immeditately instead of signing up for a pitch session then……
