“We loved our time in New Orleans and the house! The layout of the home is perfect for families. We enjoyed the sometime in the pool and grilling hamburgers. The only concern that we had is when we arrived the previous guest left the burning on the stove so the house had a strong odor of natural gas. There are plenty of glasses, plates, bowls but there could be more pots and pans. ”

“We had a lovely stay for a family vacation. The location is excellent and the off street gated parking was perfect. It was nice to have room to spread out and it was a very quiet and safe place to relax. I would just be aware that the unit is upstairs in case there is anyone in your party who can't climb. Also the bedroom curtains were rather sheer so lots of natural light comes in - lovely but also woke up my 9 yo pretty early! ”

“Our stay at bayou life was nothing short of amazing. The house is beautiful, roomy and a quiet location to just unwind and enjoy the simple life. The owners are great folks with many suggestions of places to eat great food and activities to explore the bayou. Fishing is top notch we filled coolers with lots of nice fish. Mr. Richard's crab farm is a must see we really enjoyed visiting him and learning what it takes to get soft crabs to the table. We will definitely be back to stay at bayou life.……

“We all loved the house, the location and how easy it was to get to the places we wanted to go. From the moment we arrived it was everything we expected and so much more. Great places to eat and drink with in walking distances and do close to street car stop. The house had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. We had a few nights of thunder and lightening and we spent a lot of time on the front porch as a group enjoying the storm since where we're from we don't see storms like……

“Let me just start out by saying, the property itself is decorated so well. We were all really impressed the decor and presentation of the property. It’s a spacious property that has all the classic old culture and style of New Orleans with modern furnishings, appliances and touches. The check in and out process was seemless and the host was very responsive the few times I reached out. The unit had everything we needed and more and because it located right next to a CVS we could take a 2 minute……
