“The house is very much as advertised. It’s very close to Audubon Park and a variety of great uptown NOLA restaurants, bars and shops. The layout is a typical “shotgun double” so with adjoining bedrooms so be aware of that. However, it is a lovely and comfortable house. The owner was extremely proactive and responsive.”

“First off the property was just as pictured, beautiful. The location was great for us, easy access to the Streetcar which took us down to the French Quarter several times. The weather was so beautiful we actually ended up walking down there a couple of times, about 1.5 miles. The French Coffee Truck just a few doors down was a nice treat every morning. Several restaurant options just a few feet away, so staying in definitely would not be a problem! If we make it back to NOLA, I hope to stay here……

“The property is one half of a duplex, and was for the most part, a great stay. Positives, it was clean and well maintained and the neighborhood was very friendly. The beds are on the firmer side but super comfortable. Great shower and beautifully decorated. Definitely know that this is a residential area and while there's a bus route nearby, we never found trolly access. Downside, it could definitely be better supplied. There was no handsoap and one single trash bag (cheap and busted on us……

“The location is amazing! Tucked away and private. Hosts were so nice and had instant responses about questions! There are multiple resturants and shops very close by. The french bakery next door was a definate plus! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again! ”

“Not my first stay in NOLA but first time in the Garden District. It was an amazing choice with everything needed for the extended 2 week stay. Brandi and Steve are both incredibly gracious and helpful with everything and Brandi's New Orlean's inspired design is both fun and functional. Restaurants, shopping, and even a local bike shop, Mike the Bike Guy, for rentals of excellent bikes, all in the neighborhood. “This house had all of the charm of New Orleans with plenty of updates. The house was clean and well maintained. There were so many amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. ”

Several of our group were not excited about the location as the area is a little seedy, while others thought that concern was over blown. The only tangible complaint was missing TV remotes and/or inadequate instructions on how to access/use the TVs. ”
