“ This was an unusual experience for us, as our property location was changed, by the management company, just hours before check in due to faulty A/C in reserved property. Amenities and location were slightly different, but seemed acceptable from the verbal description given over the phone. Vehicle accessibility was limited due to road closure/repairs in process, this would have been nice to know ahead of our arrival. There were signs of the homeless population, but no issues with the……

“Location cannot be beat. 1 mile from Tulane campus. And more restaurants within a three block radius than you could possibly visit during your stay. Also, really convenient to be across the street from a grocery store. The house has a very cute backyard. A sweet front porch. A nice kitchen with minimal but useful supplies. The beds were comfortable. It is a true shotgun layout so the bedrooms connect to each other. This was not a problem for us. My two negatives were one, the couch in the living……

“Overall the location was perfect for our stay in New Orleans. We were mere steps from the WW2 museum. We had no problem getting and uber to take us wherever else we wanted to go. The noise in this location was minimal, which was great for being right next to the highway. The only reason I gave the property 4/5 stars was because of cleanliness. It needed a good deep clean. The walls had dust bunnies living on them and there was a bit of a musty smell or smell like someone had smoked in……

“The floors were dirty. It appeared nobody had swept or vacuumed the floors as we could see some dirty on the floor. Light bulbs were out. Marks on the walls that could have easily been cleaned off. Refrigerator was broken but serviceable. Tubs for the shower were a little sketchy. We couldn’t find any instructions on how to use some items. ”

“Arrived at the unit and was immediately greeted by 4 homeless adults that were living on the porch "to enjoy the AC leaking out from under the door" they have set home a home with mattresses on the sidewalk out front, and were actively using drugs in front of my family. Hosteeva told me just use the back door. LOL. Currently fighting the charge with Amex, zince Hosteeva wont refund my money.”
