“The place is new, clean and comfortable. The weather was not great for our stay but it was early April and sun and warmth was not expected. We used it mainly as a base for visiting our daughter who lives in the lunenburg area and it was good for that. We did not use the kitchen much but it could use a few more utensils. Also there was not much in the way of cleaning materials to keep the place clean or to clean up any spills. Fortunately that didn’t happen for us.”

“If you are looking for a secluded spot, this is the place. We enjoyed going for walks and kayaking around the island. The kitchen is spacious so we did a fair bit of cooking, although it’s a short drive into town to go out to dinner if that’s what you prefer. The only drawback is that the downstairs bedroom was a bit loud because of pumps turning on and off at night, but if you’re a sound sleeper that shouldn’t be a problem. ”

“My wife and I had a wonderful week at this rustic and well appointed cottage in Upper Kingsburg. The place was clean, comfortable, and has a completely outfitted kitchen. Most importantly, the bed in the master bedroom slept well. The location is gorgeous. The sound of the surf on Hirtle's Beach was a constant companion. The hike around Gaff Point is a must. The scenery is fantastic and the trail is moderate with some sections crisscrossed by tree roots. Stay safely back from the eroding cliff……

“Black Forest Cabins were beautiful! The decor inside the cabin was adorable. It was spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the bathroom- bigger than expected.
