“We spent three nights at Rock haven and were very pleased with the property. sitting out on the porch with a view of the bay was very peaceful. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We were a little surprised to see no tv....but who needs it there. The area is convenient for Peggy's cove and the owners suggestion of the drive down old hwy 3 to Lunenburg was fantastic. My only complaint would be .... and I understand why... (the cottage is at the rear of the owners property at the bay,……

“Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! ”

“Super beau petit chalet paisible dans le bois. Contacts faciles avec l'hôte. Le seul bémol est que le divan lit est peu confortable, mais sinon tout le reste était parfait. Nous avions tout le nécessaire (cuisine complète, laveuse-sécheuse, télé avec Netflix, etc.). Tres calme. Nous recommandons. ”

“Great property! Well organized and equipped with everything you need (aside from a dishwasher). Just a short drive to Lunenburg. We loved kayaking right from the dock. The inlet is very calm and the kids loved exploring the islands and waterways. ”

“This was an excellent place to stay to discover much of NS. Day trips are very doable to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and, although a little further, wine country in Wolfville. Chester and Hubbards are a little closer and offer a number of excellent shops and restaurants. Returning to number 7 is like coming home to relaxing luxury with an outstanding view. The house is very modern and well equipped for towels, sheets as well as kitchen appliances and utensils. Finally, there……

“Quiet and clean but bathroom door has poor lock. Hard to find your driveway entrance due to sign fallen down and no reflective tape marking.”
