“We had a very special experience of the stay. Very convenience going to Cabot Trail and the national park. Friendly attitude and timely response. The natural environment was great with ocean, stars and the green views. However, please be mindful of the mosquitos and please adjust your expectations of the furniture/equipment considering the locations of the place. ”

“We chose this property as it was close to family in the area. While they did not stay with us, the kids enjoyed the legos and markers available. And we all liked the “music with dinner” that the record player provided. All necessary equipment to make meals and room for 6 around the table. Everything was just as described and we all had a great time. Obviously coming in March, we knew we would not be spending time outdoors, but we did grill one night, and for those visiting later in the spring……

“We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. The other staff were unable to assist with check-in. As a result, we were unable to……

“The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. And at night the whole family enjoyed looking at the stars including shooting stars.”

The hosts were welcoming, kind, and went out of their way to make our stay work well for us.
