“this artistic bungalow is just what your heart needs to get away from the real world and dream by the canal, perfectly remote and quiet and yet 5 min from all the greatest restaurants in Port Isobel. This coastal love nest is one of my favorite vrbos ever and the owners are a delight. Do yourself a massive favor and book this one!!!”

“ So I’ll start off by saying that I really wanted to give this a 5 star just based off of the fishing deck, but there were a lot of small things that I just couldn’t. The deck was awesome we caught a bunch of little channel cat had 7 guest (2 adults and 5 children) staying 5 days 4 nights. They gave us 5 bath towels, 3 trash bags, no laundry soap, 1 roll of paper towels, and no oven mitts or dish towels for a kitchen with no dishwasher.”

“The home was clean and comfortable for the wife and I. Our only problem was it not having a taller commode or elongated commode. When you are in your later stages of life, these simple things mean alot. One in the master bath would have been welcome.”

“We loved this place! Even with a couple hiccups, we got ahold of the owners quickly and they were so sweet! We love love to stay here again in the future”

“My husband and I were in town for business. It was a nice place to relax. The deck out back needs a little work and there is not a lot of room to fish since it is a corner lot. Nice shower though! The house was pretty well stocked with cooking utensils, cups, etc. All in all, it was a nice stay.”

“Hi, we had previously reviewed through Vacasa. Great house, and we will not change our 5-star review, but unfortunately we picked up bed bugs from the master bedroom during the stay. Confirmed by a doctor today. Parents in second bedroom were OK. We are fumigating and washing our clothing and bags, but it would be a good idea to pass a message to the owner prior to the next guests arriving. Never had this happen before- entirely unpleasant.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Sol y Luna. The location was excellent. The Shores development is growing and buildings are popping up all over. The development is nice but the buildings that are a few years old are in need of maintenance. We did find it strange that we were only provided two rolls of TP for both bathrooms and one roll of paper towels. There was no soap for the dishwasher. Also there was no salt and pepper which is not something i usually think about bringing when I rent a home.……

“Access to the heated pools and beach were very nice and concenient”

“It was pretty difficult to get support using the phone. I keep being pass to different group. It is common to hear 'we don't support Sunchase IV and then when we call the given number it goes to voicemail. I left multiple voice message and no one got back to us. Very bad. Getting additional tissue paper was also an issue. The additional foldable bed support is also damaged. There are missing bulbs as well.”
