“This is our second time staying at the Lodge. Its always clean, well equipped with towels and the basic necessitates. We explored Big Bend and parts of mexico, explored the hot springs and enjoyed breakfast and brunch at Vanga. Great place to visit if you like the outdoors”

“Bungalow B was very nice, comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom spacious. Enjoyed sitting outside on the porch early morning and in the evenings. The wall around the porch provided sufficient privacy. The area surrounding the bungalow is not pretty but felt safe and surprisingly quiet. “Li’l Al’s Barndominium was the perfect landing spot while spending 2 days in Big Bend. The property is secluded enough to feel like you’re on a desert retreat, yet has enough amenities and proximity to food and provisions (about 15 minutes). The sunsets and night skies are unparalleled. The outdoor shower was great too. Would highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Nice views. The camper had everything we needed. We especially liked the outside seating area. Our only real complaint is that it is located farther from Terlingua (25 minutes) and Big Bend (40 minutes) than we thought. This can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.”

“Rustic but spacious and convenient to Big Bend. We had a few issues (one mini-split didn't work but is to be replaced) and the alarm on the tankless hot-water heater went off. “This house has all the amenities of home while being off the grid. Everything was great. The WiFi, water, electricity all were great. House was easy to find just make sure you put the address or coordinates in before you lose cell signal. Area is secluded and very quiet. It was the quietest place we had ever been. You literally could not hear anything outside. It was really cool. House isn’t far from Terlingua and big bend. Only 20-30 mins maybe. I would come back and stay there again. ”

“Pool House number 2 was a perfect home base for our Big Bend National Park trip. The house had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location (close enough to town, but far away enough to enjoy nature). My family (2 adults, 2 older kids) loved our stay here and definitely would recommend it to anyone and already are thinking about our return trip. ”
