“The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip.”

“We loved staying in the glamping tent and will visit again! The instructions to get to the property were very clear (able to do it in the dark with a mid-size SUV easily). Host called the day before to make sure we would be able to communicate with them. Tent was spotless when we arrived and included a couple water bottles, first aid kit, and plenty of lighting. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. “The Sad Dove was pure perfection! The home is located just north of Big Bend National Park, and secluded. Picturesque views anywhere on the property and all the windows provided plenty of natural light and allowed us to enjoy the view inside! The home is beautifully adorned with vintage pieces & decor.
