“This is our second day at the house and once again we had a wonderful visit. House is clean well stocked for cooking, clean beds and bathroom and a classic A-frame style. Direct access off the back deck down to the water was key as we ice fished directly behind the house. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for getaway in northern Vermont.. ”

“The views are absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back. The island has so many hidden gem food spots. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by. I wish the parking spot was a little bit larger/safer as well. ”

“Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock……

“This cottage was just the right size for the two of us, and the large windows overlooking the bay provided such a serene setting. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Our visit was very comfortable. The only caution I would give is the staircase to the lower level where the bedrooms are is steep and does not have adequate railing, especially at the bottom, for safety. This would be a challenge for elderly, young children, or anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, it’s a lovely cottage. ”
