“We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!”

“Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock……

“From start to finish, everything about this trip was exceptional. The host, Scot, was amenable, checked in on me thoughtfully, respected my privacy, and communicated clearly throughout. The pictures were accurate, though they didn’t fully capture the beauty of the cabin or the surrounding creek. The cabin itself is lovely — perfect for one or two people. It was spotless (truly impressively clean), with easy-to-use appliances, and the view and atmosphere were incredibly comforting.What stood out……

“This was our 3rd time staying at Three Bears and it was perfect as usual. The cabin is amazing. It’s in a great location (surrounded by woods) and only 15 minutes from Whiteface and about 30 minutes from Lake Placid. Will definitely be going back again.”

“We were very happy with our stay! The property/home is exactly as described...beautiful. It was clean and very well appointed. The yard was nicely nestled in a large treed yard. The view from the hot tub was fantastic! Our hosts ver very communicative and friendly.The only criticism I can offer is that there was no clear direction with regard to recycling. We ended up throwing out our recyclable garbage and then found our later that it could have been put separately for pick-up. This was……

“A perfect place to calm the mind, kick back, and relax. The cabin is exactly as we expected, and perfect for our long-overdue getaway. Even our dog was happy as he met a playmate. They had a great time playing in the lake together. We closed out each day with a soak in the hot tub. And the fishing in the lake is very good. Robin and her family were GREAT hosts and very attentive to our needs and comfort. We look forward to coming back in the fall for another reset.”

“Overall, a little more rustic than expected. Location is awesome, lake views and sunsets excellent. Beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked with all the things you need. Lots of good places nearby to eat and drink. Excellent breweries, and good restaurants. Easy to get to Burlington waterfront, and mountain views at Stowe.”
