“We had a really great long weekend staying at Michael and Reiko's lake house. We felt refreshed upon leaving. The house has everything you need - the kitchen is stacked with all cooking supplies, there are games and book for rainy days, kayaks/canoe for enjoying the lake. We have kids aged 8 and 5 years old. The best part for them was the shallow water directly infront of the house. They loved jumping off the dock. One thing I would highly recommend are water shoes for kids and adults. The……

“We stayed three nights at this charming lake cabin and it was just great! Literally on the water, the patio off the back door was a great place to hang out and relax. The owners really thought of everything and made it super easy. Wal-Mart and grocery within minutes of the cabin. My wife and I love golf and there are several within 30 minutes which we played, and they were amazing too! Overall 10/10, highly recommend! It’s exactly as pictured and described, and we will definitely plan to return.”

“Overall we were pleased with our stay. There was a few things that could have been improved: the bathtub took a little longer than normal to drain, and we had a few issues with the AC unit, but other than that our stay went well! We really enjoyed the fact that there was a privacy fence, a fire pit, free WiFi, and a grill. Also, the hosts were very helpful when we had to get in touch with them with a few questions. ”

“Great little updated cabin on Arbutus lake. We were able to rent a pontoon boat for the day and spent a great afternoon on the lake. This is a family and pet friendly resort and cabin. Nice beach area and plenty of lounge chairs around. We will absolutely book this cabin again. Note: bring your own towels for the beach but every household item you will need is included with the cabin. ”

“The cabin was amazingly clean and well stocked! Tabitha the property manager was phenomenal! She gave assistance and pointers on the property, very kind and accessible. We all loved it and had such a great time we extended our stay, (Even had the opportunity to meet the very kind owner.) “This house is in a beautiful location on the east bay of Houghton Lake. We got to see an amazing sunset from the dock. The sliding glass doors provide gorgeous lake views from the dining area and living area. The host provided all kinds of extras such as popcorn, candy, shampoo, Keurig cups, and much more. Everyone in our group young and old enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, kayaks, floating pad. Hope to stay here again.”

“The cottage is absolutely adorable! We enjoyed a weekend there for Tip Up Town and even though it was freezing, it was an easy walk on the lake to the beer tent and a short walk on the road to the Limberlost. The host was communicative. It was a great stay! ”

“Nice, quiet area while close to Houghton Lake and essentials. We had one hiccup with the dock not being in the water but we made it work (wasn't the fault of the owner, but the company that was paid to place the dock). Dock should be in now. Easily housed 2 adults, 4 teens. Would stay again.”
